Ex-Sampdoria striker Luis Muriel is edging towards a return to Serie A, with the Colombian expected to join AC Milan from Sevila in the coming days.
Fiorentina have also shown interest in the striker but the negotiations with Milan are at an advanced stage.
All that is left to be fixed are the performance-based clauses and a possible purchase option, as Muchodeporte report.
The Andalusian side invested €21.5 million in Muriel only 18 months ago and were keen to get some of that money back, requesting €12m as the purchase obligation, though they will likely receive about two million euros for his initial switch this January.
Since leaving Serie A, Muriel has scored 13 goals in 65 Sevilla appearances.
The forward scored 24 and assisted 20 in 84 games for Samp.
