AC Milan welcome Reina and Strinic

Pepe Reina and Ivan Strinic have joined AC Milan on free transfers from Napoli and Sampdoria respectively.

Both players have penned deals that will see them stay at the San Siro until June 2021.

“AC Milan announces the signing of José Manuel Reina Páez and Ivan Strinic,” read a statement on Milan’s official website.

“The Spanish goalkeeper and the Croatian defender inked a three-year agreement expiring on June 30, 2021.

“Two important signings, who bring added value to the Rossoneri squad. Welcome, Pepe and Ivan!

Statements on the Lega Serie A website have revealed that Reina signed his contract on March 16, while Strinic penned his deal on March 2.

Reina spent the last three seasons at Napoli, where he made 139 appearances in all competitions. Strinic 18 appearances for Sampdoria last season – his first and only with the club after joining from Napoli.
