Accra City Stars sign 12 new players to strengthen team for upcoming season

National Division One League side, Accra City Stars completed the signings of 12 new players in the recently closed local transfer window to bolster its squad for the upcoming football season.

The lower-tier club is keen on putting up a good fight in the division when the 2020/2021 campaign starts in order to try and push for promotion.

To ensure the team has the needed squad depth and quality, Accra City Stars secured the services of the needed materials.

At the end of the local transfer window, your most trusted online portal can confirm that the Division One League side recruited a total of 12 players.

The signed players include Tahiru Alhassan goalkeeper from Dreams Fc, Gausu Tanko, a right-back from Techiman Eleven Wonders, Centre back Maxwell Akuetteh from Medeama SC, Clinton Osei, a winger from Medeama, Ibrahim Issah from Mal FC and Kadri Ali, a midfielder from Accra Great Olympics.

The others are Isaac Essel, a midfielder from Kpando Heart of lions, two wingers, Frimpong Hagan and Isaac Addo from Liberty Professionals FC and Accra Great Olympics respectively, and three forwards Evans Mensah, John Anane Mensah and Alhassan Mohammed from New Generation FC, Alajo United, Berekum Chelsea respectively.

The new Division One League season is expected to commence in December.
