Accra Hearts of Oak captures Ivorian goalkeeper Wilfred Kouassi - Reports

According to reports in the local media Accra Hearts of Oak has added Ivorian shot stopper Wilfred Kouassi to their goalkeeping department ahead of the upcoming season. 

The 26-year-old goalkeeper is said to have agreed to a two-year contract with the Phobians after impressing the team's technical staff during practices at Pobiman.

Wilfred Kouassi left FC Mouna and has now joined the Ghana Premier League side.

Wilfred Kouassi  had a stellar year with FC Mouna in which he helped the side earn a spot in the Ivorian premier division for the 2022–23 season. His performance in the league captured the attention of Accra Hearts of Oak.

Wilfred Kouassi was recognized as the top goalkeeper in the second tier league after keeping twelve clean sheets for FC Mouna and only allowing fifteen goals in twenty-five games.

The Phobians are currently preparing for the 2023/24 football season. They have appointed Rene Hiddink as the club's technical director and made other changes to the technical team.
