Accra Lions midfielder Emmanuel Dzigbah will feature in the Serbian top-flight after securing a move to Cucaricki in the ongoing transfer window.

Dzigbah joins the club on an initial loan deal with an option of making the move a permanent one at the end of the 2024/25 season.

The left footed midfielder caught the eye of the Serbian club when Accra Lions U18 travelled to the European country.

He delivered a top class performance in games against Red Star Belgrade and Cucaricki, forcing the Serbian club to secure his services for a year.

"We noticed this player when he and his club played a friendly match against our youth players, and then against Crvena zvezda. In those matches, he made a serious difference, we reacted immediately and quickly reached an agreement with his club. We had to wait for him to turn 18, when that condition was met, he came to Čukarički," said Goran Grkinić, the Technical Director of Cucaricki.

Dzigbah made 27 appearances in the league for Accra Lions, with one of his best games being against regional rivals Hearts of Oak.
