Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars have distanced themselves from coach W.O Tandoh's comments on Maxwell Konadu and Asante Kotoko and have also apologised to all affected parties.

Coach W.O Tandoh in interview with Angel FM described the Porcupine Warriors a village club following their 1-0 win at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park last Sunday.

Both teams played the entire first-half with 10-men after some superstitious beliefs.

Aduana Stars have since distanced themselves from the coach's comments and has issued an unqualified apology to all affected parties involved.

"We as Aduana Stars would like to distance ourselves from the comments of coach W. O. Tandoh. It doesn't represent our views. It's his own personal view. We apologize to Asante Kotoko, to coach Maxwell Konadu, to the Coaches Association and all affected parties," Communications of the club, Evan Oppong said in an interview with FOX 97.9 FM.

"We as a club will take a decision on him and it could be any decision; we could suspend him or make a new appointment of a new coach to replace him".
