Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed is optimistic of his side's chances of making it to the next stage of the CAF Champions League despite their narrow defeat to Libyan side Al Tahaddy.

Tahaddy defeated Aduana by 1-0 in Egypt on Sunday.

Yahaya Mohammed who was left out of the team for the game believes they can score more goals in the second leg to make the next stage of the game.

"Aduana Stars have a better chance of progressing to the next stage than Kumasi Asante Kotoko," Mohammed stated on Zylofon FM.

"It's difficult for Kotoko to sit at home and win 1-0. This is my first time in my career that I have seen five penalties in a game, it funny"

"Kotoko need to work extra hard if they really need to qualify to the next stage," he concluded.
