Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is confident that with the lure of European football and a pay rise they will be able to sign £30m-rated Crystal Palace starWilfried Zaha in the summer.

Pochettino has been targeting the winger for some time now and after being rejected during the last two transfer windows they believe the deal could go through at the end of the season, according to areport in theMirror.

Last summer Spurs had a £12m offer rejected when negotiations between the clubs turned sour leading to Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish declaring they would not let Zaha leave the club.

Palace then dug their heels in again during the January transfer window as Tottenham started to make new enquiries, but further belief has surfaced that they may finally sign him.

Zaha has been influential again this season with five goals and eight assists in 24 league appearances and Spurs aren't the only club showing interest in the Ivory Coast international.

Both RB Leipzig and Inter Milan have shown a keen interest, but the London club will confident in theopportunities they can offer.

Zaha is currently on £40k-a-week, but with Palace just out of the relegation zone and Tottenham currently chasing Champions League football the temptation might be too strong for Zaha to resist.

Palace boss Sam Allardyce, however, will be reluctant to let Zaha go, particularly should the club maintain their Premier League status, with the former England manager hoping to build the club around his mercurial talisman.
