AFCON 2019: Tunisia will fall today – Andre Ayew assures

Captain for the Black Stars of Ghana, Andre Dede Ayew has assured that the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia will fall today when the two teams meet for the last round of 16 match of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

The West African side are set to battle their counterpart from North Africa at the Ismailia Stadium later today as the round of 16 stage of the continental showdown comes to a close.

Speaking in an interview ahead of the match, Swansea attacker Andre Dede Ayew has stressed that Ghana will surely beat Tunisia to ensure they secure progression into the quarter-finals of the tournament.

“Tunisia will fall in Ismailia on Monday”.

“Football is not only about tactics, it is also about being united as a team and competing for every ball”.

“We have to be smart too and I have no doubt that the boys will deliver against Tunisia and reach the quarterfinals”, the former u-20 world cup winner shared.

The crucial encounter will be played at the Ismailia Stadium with kickoff time set at 19:00GMT.
