Africa Games: Black Princesses coach Yussif Basigi to ring ‘slight’ changes in starting line-up to face Nigeria

Black Princesses coach Yussif Basigi will effect few changes to his starting line-up to face Nigeria in the finals of the 13th African Games.

The Ghana U20 female team will face the Super Falconets for gold at the multi-sport competition in Cape Coast on Thursday.

The Black Princesses reached the final after beating Senegal in the semis, having topped Group A of the competition.

Nigeria emerged top of Group B before beating Uganda to reach the final.

Ahead of the game, Basigi says he will ring few changes to his starting line-up for the highly competitive clash.

“It’s a tactical ploy, we look at the opponent and we see who is to play because all the players have their mental fortitude as against each match. We look at them and we fix in the players that we think will okay for us. You may see slight changes in the team but they are the players who are ready to play”

Nigeria and Ghana have a long-standing history in women's football, with the Black Princesses beating the Super Falconets at the WAFU championship last year.
