Africa Games: We should have scored four against Gambia – Black Satellites coach Desmond Offei

Black Satellites tactician Desmond Offei was left to rue missed chances in their game against Gambia in the second game of the African Games men's football tournament.

The Ghana U20 inflicted a 3-1 win over Gambia after a disappointing draw in their opening game against Congo.

Goals from Musibau Aziz, Abdul Aziz Issah and Jerry Afriyie were enough for the Black Satellites to snatch maximum points in the game.

Gambia managed to score a consolation goal through Ebrimah Ceesay in the 83rd minute, but it was too little, too late.

“Scoring three goals today, I think it could have been four but we are happy with the victory. We had full control of the game so even missing that penalty did cause us to panic. The team responded well” he said

With their final game against Benin approaching, Ghana is well-positioned to secure a spot in the semi-finals.
