Afriyie Acquah admits to missing Ghana amid Covid-19 crisis

Yeni Malatyaspor midfield powerhouse, Afriyie Acquah has admitted to missing his family and friends in Ghana in the midst of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.

The Turkey-based player joined his club prior to the start of the 2019/2020 Turkish Super Lig season from Italian Serie A club Empoli.

His impressive stint in his first season was halted in March following the Covid-19 pandemic which is having a total on the whole world.

Speaking to Suncity Radio, Afriyie Acquah has opened up on life in Turkey as he indicates that he is missing his home country Ghana.

"It is true that I’ve missed home. Right now we are indoors doing nothing so it makes me miss home and everything that much”, the Black Stars asset said.

He added, “For my mother, she recently visited me in Turkey so I’m cool but I’ve missed other family members and friends back in Ghana and wish to be back at home and spend quality time with them."
