Leicester City midfielder Nampalys Mendy could yet return to France this week.

Mendy has been made available by Leicester all summer, but is yet to secure a move away.
A representative of the midfielder's has confirmed contact with Rennes, though admits he has other offers.
"Rennes had already tried to attract Nampalys a few weeks ago and the answer was negative," stated the source. "It is still so today.

"For the moment, we are always in touch with Nice and Saint-Etienne where we are attentive to what can happen."
