Feyenoord wonderkid Ozancan Kokcu is understood to be at the centre of a tug-of-war between Premier League sides Tottenham and Everton, according toYahoo Sports.

The teenager is yet to break into the Feyenoord first team, but that hasn't stopped him from attracting interest from around Europe, as a number of teams are believed to have been monitoring his rise through the ranks in the Netherlands.

Despite reported interest from the Bundesliga, Kokcu's agent,Muzzi Ozcan, has told Yahoo that the player's next destination is likely to be England, and perhaps more specifically North London, as Tottenham are said to be leading the chase to sign the versatile forward.

His agent recently revealed:We have serious offers from England, Holland and Germany.

Tottenham, Everton and clubs in Germany are speaking to him, Spurs are pursuing the contract the hardest. In the coming weeks we will decide his future.

With his current deal at Feyenoord set to expire in the summer, Kokcu is yet to decide his future, although it is unlikely he will remain with a team in the Eredivisie.

Spurs are perhaps leading the race asboss Mauricio Pochettino has shown a willingness in recent seasons to offer out first team opportunities to younger players, with the likes of Dele Alli and Harry Kane now well and truly established as crucial members of the side.

But whilst Tottenham's record with youth would seemingly give them an edge, Everton will also have it's benefits should Kokcu choose Merseyside.

Theytoo have a put faith in younger players this season, most notably in 18-year-old Tom Davies and coughing up £7.48m for Ademola Lookman from Charlton.

The Toffees will also hope that manager Ronald Koeman can play a key role in negotiations and use his links with Dutch football to prize the youngster to Goodison Park in the summer and beat Tottenham to his signature.
