Agent Dalibor Lacina - the former representative of Wilfried Bony - has stated in the Czech Republic media the Swans will turn to Boril to ease their defensive worries.

Lacina - who compares the defender to Manchester United legend Gary Neville - said: "He was interested in Galatasaray in the summer. But Slavia did not release him at the time, with no compensation.

"Swansea are looking for a right sided defender. When they ask me about Bořil, I say that his game play reminds me of Gary Neville."

The 26-year-old started his professional career with Mlada Boleslav before joining Czech First League giants Slavia Prague in 2016 via a loan spell with Viktoria Zizkov.

He has played 15 times in all competitions for the club so far this season and featured in Czech Republic's recent World Cup qualifiers against Germany and Azerbaijan.
