Agyemang Badu cameos in Hellas Verona's 2-1 defeat at AS Roma

Midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu played a cameo role for Hellas Verona on Wednesday evening when the side lost 2-1 to AS Roma in the Italian Serie A.

The Ghana international is on loan from Udinese and has fallen down the pecking order following an illness that has seen him miss a huge chunk of games in the ongoing season.

Today, Badu earned some minutes after coming on as a substitute for Sofyan Amrabat for Hellas Verona in their game against AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.

Though he solidified the midfield of the away team, they could not find the second goal that would have earned them a point at the end of the 90 minutes.

Two first-half goals from Jordan Veretout and striker Edin Dzeko was enough to steer AS Roma to the needed win despite Matteo Pessina’s consolation goal in the second half for the visitors.

This season, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has managed to feature in 9 games for Hellas Verona in the Italian Serie A.
