Ajax manager Erik Ten Hag says his side won't be risking Ghanaian midfielder Kudus Mohammed ahead of their Eredivisie league game against Willem ll on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old has been on sidelines for the past three months after picking up an injury in his Champions League debut against Liverpool.

Kudus has started training with the club last week.

The former FC Nordsjaelland forward was expected to sit out for the rest of the season.

''He did not feel 100 percent yet. That is why we have decided not to take any risks with him", Ten Hag is quoted as saying by AD.

The Black Stars midfielder joined Ajax on a five-year deal from Danish top-flight side FC Nordsjaelland last summer.
