Ajax coach Francesco Farioli opens up on Kamaldeen Sulemana's failed move to Ajax

Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana was close to joining Ajax on loan, but the deal collapsed in the final moments of the transfer window.

Ajax believed they had submitted the necessary documents just before the deadline, but the transfer ultimately did not go through.

Ajax coach Francesco Farioli expressed his disappointment, noting that Kamaldeen Sulemana's limited game time under Southampton boss Russell Martin made the move appealing.

In an interview with the Dutch club's media, Farioli reflected on the situation: "I would have loved to switch off my phone before the deadline, but I couldn’t due to some important calls. We were dealing with financial constraints and lost two players while trying to bring in Kamaldeen. It was chaotic and frustrating for everyone involved."

Despite the setback, Farioli emphasized the need to focus on solutions moving forward. "We can cry about what happened, or we can find a way to move forward."
