The Director of Football at Ajax, Sven Mislintat has opened up on ongoing talks with Ghana star Mohammed Kudus.
According to him, the club is in contact with the Black Stars poster as well as Edson Alvarez.
He notes that Ajax wants to keep both players this season as the team will need time to bring in good replacements.
"We've very open and good discussions with both players and their agents with a clear wish in terms of timeline. We need time to get good replacements.
"Although the best thing for Ajax would be that Kudus and [Edson] Alvarez stay," he told Mike Verweij.
Mohammed Kudus is continuously linked with a move away from Ajax this summer.
English Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United are aiming to sign Mohammed Kudus before the start of the 2023/24 football season.
It is understood that the Blues are leading the race for the signature for the forward.
