Just before the home game against RKC Waalwijk, general director Edwin van der Sar of Ajax called on the spectators present in the Johan Cruijff ArenA not to express themselves exuberantly, due to the COVID-19. That generally worked out quite well, except when Mohammed Kudus had the ball.

Kudus signed for Ajax from FC Nordsjælland this year after producing sterling performances for the Danish-based club last season.

Mohammed Kudus first garnered applause from the almost 9,000 spectators who had come to the stadium. But after another touch on the ball and a successful trick there, they became more enthusiastic and enthusiastic.

More and more fans bounced when Kudus made another action. They also voted him 'King of the match' by far after the game.

"I've always been more of an attacker," Kudus said after the final whistle.

"I played in all positions at the front and as an attacking midfielder. But I'm glad I already get a chance here," he added.
