Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam have encountered a tough period, failing to clinch a victory since the departure of Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus in August.

The 23-year-old made the move to Premier League side West Ham United at the start of the season, in a deal worth around 43 million euros.

During his stint at Ajax, the Ghanaian midfielder left a lasting mark, featuring in 87 matches, tallying 27 goals and providing 12 assists over three years.

At the start of this season, Kudus featured in three matches for Ajax, recording four goals and one assist.

His farewell showcase came in Ajax's 4-1 triumph over Ludogorets in the Europa League, where he bagged a hat-trick.

Since Kudus's exit, Ajax has grappled with securing victories. Their last win was the match in which Kudus featured against Ludogorets.

Over their last seven outings, Ajax has faltered in securing a win, managing to score only six goals while conceding a substantial 13.

Out of these seven encounters, Ajax settled for three draws and suffered defeats in four matches.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Kudus appears to have integrated smoothly at West Ham United, netting three times in the eight games he has participated in so far.
