Dutch giants Ajax is considering signing more players in Kudus Mohammed’s position despite turning down his move to Everton.

The Black Stars midfielder who seems not to be happy is desperate to leave Ajax, with Footballghana.com sources revealing that Kudus refused to train on Wednesday in an attempt to force a transfer to Everton on transfer deadline day.

It is said the former FC Nordsjaelland star has agreed personal terms with the Premier League side over a possible move but Ajax says he is not for sale.

Kudus has been told not to leave despite an offer from Everton. Ajax sees a bright future for the midfielder in Amsterdam.

Despite feeling reluctant to release Kudus, Ajax intend to sign new players in the Ghana star position.

Footballghana.com understands the four-time Champions League winners are interested in signing free agent, Florian Grillitisch and Lucas Ocampos who plies his trade for Sevilla.

Ajax wants a replacement for Antony who departed the club to join Manchester United this summer.

Despite Kudus presence, Ajax has decided to sign more players in his position.

Kudus, who was outstanding during the preseason scoring four goals in four games, has been relegated to the bench, playing less than 30 minutes in the first four games of the season.

He joined Ajax from FC Nordsjaelland in 2020 for €9 million and signed a five-year contract.

The 22-year-old has appeared in 46 games, scoring six goals and winning back-to-back Dutch league titles
