Al Tahaddy agree to play in Dormaa against Aduana in CAF Champions League

Libyan side, Al Tahaddy have finally agreed to play the Champions League second leg game against Aduana Stars in Dormaa, after earlier insisting they will not travel to Brong Ahafo for the match. 

President of the club, Khalif Kwafi wanted his 38 contingent to be airlifted from Kumasi to Dormaa for the game on Wednesday.

However, Officials of the Ghana Premier League Champions and members of the Ghana Football Association met, Kwafi at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi to discuss the issue, which ended up with both sides coming to a compromise.

“Yes we have reached a compromise, the contingent of 38 have all received our tickets for Accra first flight on Thursday after the match, so we now have no worries, will go and play,” Khalid Kwafi said.

The Libyan side lead the tie by a goal to nil, after the first leg in Egypt.

Meanwhile, Aduana Stars will have to win by a great margin to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
