Alan Pardew expects Crystal Palace to name their new manager next week.

Pardew believes that Palace - and another of his former clubs Southampton – will both be looking to move swiftly to make their next managerial appointment to minimise the disruption to the plans for the coming season.
"Both of those clubs will be looking to secure their managers very quickly, if not the next week or so," he told Sky Sports News.
"Those plans [for the new season] are really extensive now.

"Pre-season programmes are scientifically-based and you need to get it all narrowed down. It's very important the manager is leading that."
