Alexander Djiku will miss Strasbourg's crucial game against Saint-Etienne following an accumulation of yellow cards.
The Black Stars defender has picked up four yellow cards and one red card in the 2021-22 Ligue 1 season.
Djiku recieved yellow cards against Angers, Olympique Lyon, RC Lens, and LOSC Lille. The red card came against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), he was first yellow carded for a bad tackle he was booked again a few minutes later.
The defender joined Ligue 1 side Stade Malherbe Caen on a four-year contract. He was acquired by Strasbourg in the summer of 2019.
Djiku has been added to the provisional squad for Ghana's crucial World Cup qualifying matches against Zimbabwe in Cape Coast and Harare respectively next month.
