Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez is prepared to hand in a transfer request.
The Sunday Mirror says the Chile star, 28, is set to force Arsene Wenger's hand by putting in a transfer request.
Sanchez was due back at Arsenal on Sunday but posted an Instagram selfie claiming to be sick.
Wenger has since confirmed he has the flu.
The Frenchman is also adamant contract rebel Sanchez, whose current deal expires next summer, will be at the Emirates next season.
But Sanchez is reportedly desperate to link up with former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
