Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has revealed the aspect of life in England which he feelsis helping him grow as an individual.

The former Barcelona man recently spoke English for the first time in an interview, and believes learning the language will only improve his fortunes both on and off the pitch.

"Yes, few days ago I did a live interview in English for the first time in my life. I found it a bit difficult, but at the same time I felt comfortable too," the 27-year-old revealed.

"I must keep on learning the language so I can develop as a person.

"My teammates in general have helped me a lot. I have also learnt English in some other contexts, such as having a stroll in the street. People approach me, talk to me in English... My listening and my conversational English are improving a lot thanks to people.

"At the beginning I took lessons for two hours a day. Then I had to make use of what I learnt so I could communicate with my teammates and the manager. I truly like English language. Learning it helps me grow as an individual."
