Cagliari manager, Eusebio Di Francesco has confirmed the arrival of Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan to the club.
The 27-year-old is joining the club on an initial six months loan deal with an option to buy from AFC Fiorentina.
Duncan left the training grounds of La Viola on Friday morning to complete his mandatory medicals ahead of his loan move.
Cagliari will pay up to 13million euros at the end of the season to sign the midfielder permanently.
"I can say he is a very welcome player," the manager said.
"I hope to retrain him soon," he added.
Duncan has featured in four league games for the Stadio Artemio Franchi outfit in the ongoing Serie A campaign.
The 27-year-old midfielder will link up with former coach Eusebio Di Francesco, who trained him for two seasons at US Sassuolo.
Duncan will team up with his new teammates on Monday.
The Ghanaian has been capped nine times by the Black Stars.
