Alhaji Grunsah blames referee for King Faisal heavy defeat to Dreams FC

Bankroller of King Faisal Alhaji Grunsah has bemoaned poor officiating for his side's 4-1 defeat to Dreams FC in their opening game of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season on Sunday.

King Faisal suffered a heavy defeat at the Theatre of Dreams despite an impressive stat to the game.

A brace from Emmanuel Ocran and a goal apiece from Ibrahim Issah and Dantani Amadu helped seal a comfortable victory for Dreams FC.

Lateef Mohammed got the consolation for King Faisal.

According to the experienced football administrator, officiating was poor and must improve to help develop the game in the country.

Speaking to reporters after the game he said, "The referee was very arrogant. He came with his own results and that was what we saw. His decisions were poor on the day. In my view he was poor"

King Faisal will host Ashantigold in matchday two of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League this coming weekend.
