Owner and bankroller of King Faisal, Alhaji Grusah has opened up on his outfit relegation battle after defeat against Medeama.

The Isha Allah club has come under intense pressure after suffering a 2-1 defeat to the Yellow and mauve in week 32 of the Ghana Premier League on Friday.

The defeat has made things worse for King Faisal to survive relegation but Alhaji Grusah thinks otherwise.

“Nothing is too difficult for God. To men, it’s difficult but to God it isn’t. If you should have seen the accident we had, you will know God saved us. God does things at his own time. So, if God says we will stay in the league, we will surely stay. His will, will be done. Insuah Allah” he told Angel FM.

On a rainy afternoon in Tarkwa, the Mauve and Yellow earned a hard-fought victory to maintain their place at the top of the table after beating King Faisal 2-1.

The visitors took an early lead through Samuel Kusi, who volleyed home from few metres from the centre line.

Before Nurudeen Adulai levelled for the host as both teams went into the break with the scoreline levelled.

Joshua Agyemang stole the winner in the second half for Medeama SC after connecting to a Derrick Fordjuor assist.
