Former Great Olympics head coach, Godwin Attram has slammed the Ghanaian media for continuous criticism of the call-ups of Black Stars head coach CK Akonnor as he notes that the gaffer must be allowed to work.
Ghana is set to face off with Sudan in the qualifiers to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in the upcoming international break.
Last Friday, Coach CK Akonnor named his 23-man squad and as usual it was met with various criticisms.
According to former Black Stars midfielder Godwin Attram, the media must stop confusing the gaffer with the complaints.
“Stop confusing CK Akunnor with your complaints on every call up he makes”, he said in an interview with Atinka FM on Wednesday.
Godwin Attram continued, “National team need time and proper planning”.
In the upcoming AFCON qualifiers against Sudan, Coach CK Akonnor is aiming for maximum poinst to ensure Ghana maintains its spot at the top of Group C.
