Alvaro Morata says his winner against Manchester United was the most important goal of his Chelsea career.
Morata's goal ensured that the Blues remain fourth in the Premier League and relieved some pressure on boss Antonio Conte.
Asked if it was the most crucial of all eight goals he has scored so far this season, he replied: "For sure.
"It is important that we won.
“We had a very good chance today to come back to winning ways.
“We are happy now with the international break we can go with three points."
Boss Conte also hailed his star striker after the game.
"Tonight Morata had a good game and showed he is strong physically and has good technique," Conte said.
“If I have to find a negative, he has to score more and be more clinical.
“But, step by step, having changed to a younger average age in the squad, it means we have to have patience and try to improve them."
