Popular Ghanaian lawyer Amanda Clinton is eyeing a run to takeover the top seat of the Ghana Football Association.

Ms Clinton, who gained popularity after strongly backing GFA in the aftermath of the Anas expose, confirmed she has the endorsement of Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak and other clubs ahead of next month’s Presidential elections.

The vetting of qualified candidates will take place from September 26 to October 1 with the election slated for October 27, 2019.

“Yes it’s true Hearts of Oak proposed to me, with a number of clubs, and I mentioned them because they are the oldest club in Ghana,” Clinton was quoted by Oyerepa FM.

“I have been working with them in quite a few capacities mainly operational, legal and strategic wise.

“I stand out unique looking at the aspirants, not bias and as a woman, will have women football top on my agenda, but rebranding the GFA to attract corporate Ghana is top priority,” she added.
