Amartey destroyed chance of playing for Chelsea over pennant saga

In excitement of Leicester's Wembley victory, Daniel Amartey carelessly threw Chelsea's official FA Cup final pennant over his shoulder.

The players celebrated their victory in the dressing room, with videos broadcast online, including an Instagram Live by Wesley Fofana.

The French defender captured Amartey, who was an unused substitute in the game, grabbing the Blues pennant and tossing it over his shoulder, much to his teammate's delight.

The video went viral on social media and it got football pundits and fans talking. Some fans laughed over the incident but Chelsea supporters demanded an apology.

This move by Daniel Amartey has definitely destroyed any future chance of him playing for the UEFA Champions League winner Chelsea FC.

The backlash from Chelsea fans won't permit Chelsea to enter into any future negotiations with him.

Daniel Amartey played twelve games for Leicester City and scored one goal in the Premier League. He was involved in the Black Stars international friendlies played this month. Coach CK Akonnor was happy about his performance during the two games.
