Amiens welcomed me like a family- Nicolas Opoku

Amiens defender Nicolas Opoku had some words of praise for his team mates and mentioned how difficult the competition has been so far.

The Ghanaian is currently self isolating due to the outbreak of the coronavirus and Ligue 1 has been suspended until further notice.

In an interview on the club's website, Opoku revealed how it has been so far since arriving at the club on loan from Udinese in this year's winter transfer window.

“80% speak English in the team. So, I feel very good, even if I would prefer to speak French but I still have time. The team is really fantastic, when I got here, they welcomed me as a family. Ligue 1 is a difficult championship, with intensity and aggressiveness. I am very happy to be on this team. The city is really nice, with beautiful people and the supporters are also fantastic. Against PSG, we led in the first half and even if it changed later, they continued to support us. They are really fantastic and I love their support. "

Opoku has played seven matches for the club so far and has helped them to two clean sheets.
