Ancelotti content with his squad

Carlo Ancelotti has made it clear that he is happy with his Bayern Munich squad and is not looking to sign any new players before the transfer window closes.

Ancelotti has no plans to sign a replacement for Mario Gotze, who returned to Borussia Dortmund earlier this month after spending the last three years in Munich.

Bayern have signed Renato Sanches and Mats Hummels since the end of last season while Ancelotti insists Robert Lewandowski will not be sold.

The Poland international has been linked with a transfer to Real Madrid, but former AC Milan and Chelsea manager Ancelotti said: "I think we are covered in all the positions.

"We don't need to have other players. I'm really happy with this squad.

"Last year Lewandowski scored a lot of goals. He's a fantastic striker. We need these players so we are really happy to have him here so there are not other things to say.

"He's really important for us. He's not the only player, fortunately. I think we have a fantastic squad and we will be competitive all season."

Meanwhile, Holger Badstuber is making a good recovery from a broken ankle and could feature against AC Milan in the International Champions Cup on Wednesday.

"Badstuber is doing well after the injury that he had. It's not a surprise because I knew Badstuber was a professional player," Ancelotti added.

Bayern are 1/10000 to win the Bundesliga title once again in 2016/17 and can be backed at 4/7 to beat AC Milan. Meanwhile, Lewandowski is 10/11 to score at any time against the Serie A side.
