Anderlecht expected to pay 2.5 million to sign Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru

Belgian giants, RSC Anderlecht have according to sources agreed to pay 2.5 million euros for the permanent signing of Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru.

As reported by your most trusted online portal last week, the former WAFA SC superstar is set to seal a loan move to the Belgian Jupiler Pro League club for the rest of the 2020/2021 football season.

Keen on having the talent of Majeed Ashimeru at the club beyond the next six months, Anderlecht has now per reports gathered had an agreement with Red Bull Salzburg that could see them permanently signing the midfielder.

The Ghana star has a contract with the Austrian Bundesliga outfit that is expected to run until 2024.

They are however open to letting him go and have asked Anderlecht to be ready to pay a sum of 2.5 million euros if they want to outrightly sign Majeed Ashimeru at the end of the expected loan deal.
