Anderlecht rejects Olympiacos offer for Ghanaian winger Francis Amuzu

RSC Anderlecht has turned down an offer from Greek side Olympiacos for Francis Amuzu according to reports in Belgium. 

Olympiacos bid 6 million euros, but Anderlecht demanded 8 million euros. For the time being, it does not appear that the Greeks intend to make any more offers for Francis Amuzu.

The market is open till September 11 in Greece and until September 6 in Belgium. Before Amuzu can leave the club, CEO Jesper Fredberg wants to make sure the team has a replacement winger.

Premier League club Nottingham Forest has also expressed interest in Francis Amuzu.

Amuzu signed his first professional contract on 23 August 2015 with R.S.C. Anderlecht. He made his professional debut for Anderlecht in a 1–0 Belgian First Division A win over K.A.S. Eupen on 22 December 2017.

In the 2022/23 league season, Francis Amuzu made 32 appearances, scored three goals, and assisted six in the league. This season the Belgian international has played five games and scored one goal.
