There is pressure mounting on Anderlecht to sell teenage sensation Jeremy Doku in the summer transfer window with Newcastle United ready to poach the attacker.

The Belgian-born forward who is of Ghanaian descent has had his breakthrough season in the just ended Jupiler Pro League competition where he featured for the Purple and White club as a key member of their squad.

Having earned applause from pundits, coaches and players alike, he has attracted interest from several clubs in Europe who want to invest in his future.

According to reports reaching footballghana.com, Anderlecht is now under pressure to change their mind about not selling Jeremy Doku this summer.

The Belgian giants have taken a stance to keep the attacker at the club for at least the next season to ensure he continues his development.

Nonetheless, interest from RB Leipzig, Dortmund, Liverpool, as well as Newcastle United could force the club to take a different stance.

Just 18 years of age, Anderlecht has priced the pacey winger at 25 million Euros in a bid to ward off interest from other clubs.

In the 2019/2020 season, he made 21 appearances and chipped in with 3 goals and 3 assists.
