The injury blocked the winger's chance to link up with the Belgian national team during the international break.
Francis Amuzu has a good chance of playing against Charleroi again in six days.
However, the diagnosis is not yet final, according to the Flemish newspaper.
Francis Amuzu is set to sign a new contract with the Belgian outfit. His current contract expires in 2024.
