Ghanaian international Andree Dede Ayew has been named as one of Swansea City’s standout players in the suspended 2019/2020 English Championship season.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic which has virtually brought the world onto its knees, sporting activities worldwide have been affected.

In England, football has been very hit with the football governing body taking the decision to suspend all the various leagues.

With 80% of the English Championship games already played, Swansea City sits 11th on the standings of the division after playing 37 games.

Assessing the performances of players at the club, Black Stars captain Andre Ayew has been included as one of the most outstanding ones.

The attacker who is the vice-captain for the Swans has 14 goals to his name this season and has also chipped in with 5 assists as well.

Not only does his goal contribution make him stand tall, but his show of leadership on and off the pitch, as well as his work ethic on matchdays, has also been up there.

He leads the top 3 most outstanding players for the Swans on the list that has goalkeeper Freddie Woodman and experienced defender Kyle Naughton.

Besides these 3 players, other players who have been good for Swansea City under manager Steve Cooper include Rhian Brewster, Conor Gallagher Joe Rodon, Mike van der Hoorn, and Jordon Garrick.

Meanwhile, Andre Ayew is being tipped to emerge as Swansea City’s player of the season at the end of the season regardless of what happens.
