Andre Ayew plays full throttle for Swansea City in big win against Birmingham City

Andre Dede Ayew enjoyed 90 minutes for Swansea City this evening as he impressed in the team’s 3-1 win against Birmingham City at the St Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium.

The two clubs were in action today as they honored a Matchday 42 fixture of the ongoing 2019/2020 English Championship season.

On the matchday, Andre Ayew was handed a starting role for Swansea City to help the side fight for the available 3 points.

Despite setting up compact, the away team was stunned after just 5 minutes of action when Birmingham City took the lead through Lukas Jutkiewicz.

Now trailing, Swansea remained calm and pushed for the equalizer to draw level. On the 12th minute, they finally got the breakthrough when in-form teenager Rhian Brewster scored after he was assisted by Connor Roberts.

Two additional goals from Ben Cabango and Jay Fulton on the 45th and 52nd minutes respectively ensured that Swansea City grabbed all the 3 points at the end of the 90 minutes.

Andre Ayew, 30, has now made 39 appearances for his club and has 14 goals and 6 assists to his name.

The win has taken Swansea City to 7th on the standings of the English Championship and just a point away from the play-off spot.
