Ghana skipper Andre Dede Ayew has expressed his dissatisfaction following Swansea City's 1-0 home defeat to Leeds United in the English Championship on Sunday.

The 30-year-old lasted the entire duration of the game as the Swans suffered a narrow loss at the Liberty Stadium.

"Tough one to take..team spirit was top.. didn’t get what we deserved .. we still in !we keep believing!" the former West Ham midfielder posted on twitter.

A game of few clear-cut chances looked set to end goalless until Swansea City former midfielder Pablo Hernandez's low shot rolled in off the post a minute from time.

The win means Leeds United's return to the top flight could be secured when they host Barnsley on Thursday, while Swansea are not out of promotion contention themselves, although the painful defeat saw them miss the chance to climb into the Championship play-off places.

Ayew has made 41 appearances in the English Championship this season, scored 14 goals and provided six assists.
