Antonio Conte spoke of his happiness after his side marched on with a 2-1 win over West Ham at the London Stadium.

Speaking to Sky Sports immediately after the win, Conte heaped praise on his side for their disciplined and dogged approach.

"I think we played a great game. We controlled the game, scoring and creating more chances. It is a pity for the goal we conceded at the endas we did against Arsenal.

"We must improve inthis situation but at least we showed great concentration and commitment as well as a great will to win. We followed the plan very well.

"West Ham started the game very well and we had to control that.

"Pedro, Hazard on this counter attack are great players and to score in this way is very good."

Conte focussed particularly on his mercurial winger, carefully pointing out Hazard's positives and negatives in equal measure.

"Eden, in the same way as the other players, played very well. It was a good performance from him. He had the opportunity to score more goals and if he gets these chances he must do it. But I am very pleased with him".

The Italian also highlighted N'Golo Kante's display as being key, discussing the importance the Frenchman has in his side: "N'Golo is a very good player with great stamina. He covers a lot of ground but we are working with him to work directly with the forwards.

"It's a solid step for us. It's not easy to play after your opponent and if you draw or lose you drop points".

"11 games left is still a lot and in this period it is important to live with the pressure. To feel this type of pressure is good. We have a good answer but now it is important to rest and prepare for the FA Cup tie against Man Utd."
