Appiah elated with maiden goal in Ethiopian Premier League

Ghanaian youngster Richard Appiah netted his first goal of the season for Saint Georges on Wednesday as they defeated Mebrat Hayl by two goals to one in the Ethiopian Premier League.

Appiah who was making his third appearance for Saint Georges since his mid season move from Laos netted the opener for his side in the 6th minute with a fantastic finish at the Addis Ababa Stadium in the crunch game.

The ex-Cheetah FC striker was happy with his output and remained hopeful of scoring more goals before the season ends.

“I am glad with my goal and also the win for my team. I am will continue doing my best and I am confident the goals will come,” Appiah told footballmadeinghana.com

The 21-year-old attacker joined Saint Georges FC from Laos side Champasak United a month ago and is already establishing himself in the team.
