Arsenal announce eight ticket price freeze in 12 years

Published on: 03 August 2017

Arsenal have announced that the admission ticket prices at the Emirates have been frozen for the eighth time in 12 seasons.

Arsenal charge their fans the most among all Premier League teams in terms of season ticket prices and this fact has caused a lot of anger among the fans, especially with the club failing to produce the goods on the pitch.

As a source of relief for the club faithful though, the Gunners have announced that they will be freezing admission prices at the Emirates and will also be providing a further discount to travelling supporters by reducing the ticket fees from the standard £30 to £26.

Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis said about the changes: "Our ticketing approach is designed to ensure we have as many people attending games at Emirates Stadium as possible and helps encourage the next generation of Arsenal fans to come to games and experience the thrill of live matches.

"It also pays special recognition to supporters who travel up and down the country to watch the team play."
