Arsenal boss Wenger blasts Sterling: We all know he\'s a great diver

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has slammed Raheem Sterling, claiming that the Manchester City attacker 'dives well' after he was awarded a penalty in the Sky Blues 3-1 win over the Gunners on Sunday.

Nacho Monreal clattered into the England international with the game at 1-0, but Wenger disagreed with Michael Oliver's decision to award the penalty and insists Sterling went down too easily.

"I believe it was no penalty," said Wenger. "We know that Raheem Sterling dives well, he does that very well. And the third goal was offside. I am very upset because at 2-1 we were in the game.

"The third goal was the killer and it is by coincidence that mistakes always go for the home team, as we know."

Sergio Aguero converted the spot-kick to double City's advantage after Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoring.

Alexandre Lacazette pulled one back for the Gunners before Gabriel Jesus controversially restored City's two-goal lead after he was set up by David Silva for an easy tap-in. Replays showed that the Spaniard was offside when Fernandinho played him into the box.
