Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has told Alexis Sanchez he won't be sold to a Premier League rival.
The Times says Sanchez, 28, is still to sign a new deal to stay at the Emirates and has only 12 months left on his contract.
Arsenal have offered him an improved salary, worth £275,000-a-week, but Sanchez is holding out for more or a move away from North London.
And Wenger has told the Chilean there is no chance he will be moving to a Premier League rival.
The forward, Arsenal's top scorer last season with 30 goals in all competitions, sees Manchester City as his preferred destination.
Sanchez had fancied a move to Paris Saint-Germain, but the French club are now closing in on a record-busting move for Barcelona star Neymar.
