Arsenal fans storm Partey's family house to convince the player to sign for them

Members of Mesut Ozil's fan club in Ghana have recently made the visit to Thomas Partey's family in an attempt to convince the player to sign for the club this summer.

The fans gave the family an Arsenal shirt and told them that the midfielder will be welcome at the club. The 26 year old currently has a release clause of 50 million euros and has been constantly linked with a move to the Gunners.

The visit was confirmed by Kelvin Ashford Eshun , a Ghanaian journalist who works for Ashh radio.

"Some fans visited the Partey family to try to convince them to sign with Arsenal," he told Mundo Deportivo.

Kelvin also gave his opinion on the transfer issue. He believes that the Ghanaian will be better off staying in Atletico Madrid.

“I feel like you should take your time on any movement. He is being one of Atlético's best midfielders this season. Arsenal is also a good club. Although he shouldn't go to the Premier League but to a club where he would become a much better player."

"So I would like him to stay in Spain, he has adapted well and is now a better player. Most Ghanaian footballers are very loyal. I am sure that Simeone will make him stay,” he concluded.
