Arsenal striker, Eddie Nketiah is one of a number of players that could represent Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

It will however depend on their decision to complete a nationality switch from England to Ghana.

The England-born attacker is of Ghanaian roots. Earlier this year, he indicated that he wanted to sort out his future at Arsenal before thinking about his national team ambitions.

Having signed a contract extension deal with the Gunners prior to the start of the 2022/23 English Premier League season, Eddie Nketiah according to reports is making consideration on whether to continue with England or play for Ghana.

Although a final decision is yet to be taken, there are indications that the possibility of representing Ghana is strongly being considered.

He is now one of seven players born abroad that could switch nationality to be part of the Black Stars squad at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The others who could possibly do the same include Callum Hudson-Odoi, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, Jeremie Frimpong, Brian Brobbey, Ansgar Knauff, and Jordi Osei-Tutu.

At the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Ghana has been pitted in Group H and will face off with Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.
